VectorTraining ("we", "us", "our") operates the VectorTrainer iPad application and the vectortraining.app website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. VectorTrainer contains no advertising and we do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Information We Collect

Account Information When you create an account at vectortraining.app, we collect your name, email address, and password. This information is used solely to authenticate you and manage your subscription access.

Purchase Information When you purchase a subscription, payment is processed securely through WooCommerce and our payment processor. We do not store your full credit card details. We retain your purchase history to manage your course entitlements.

Device Identifier To protect your subscription and prevent unauthorized sharing of credentials, VectorTrainer generates a unique device identifier the first time you log in. This identifier is stored securely in your iPad's Keychain and is sent to our servers to verify that your account is being accessed from your registered device. This identifier cannot be used to identify you personally and is not shared with third parties.

Usage Data We do not collect analytics, usage statistics, or behavioral data from within the app. We do not track which modules you study or how long you spend in the app.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Authenticate your account and verify your subscription
  • Deliver your purchased course content
  • Manage device binding for subscription security
  • Respond to support requests
  • Send transactional emails related to your account or purchase

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the VectorTrainer service.

Data Storage

Your account information is stored on our WordPress/WooCommerce server hosted at vectortraining.app. Course content is downloaded and stored locally on your iPad. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access.

Third-Party Services

VectorTrainer uses the following third-party services:

  • WooCommerce — subscription and purchase management
  • JWT Authentication — secure API authentication
  • Payment Processor — secure payment handling (we do not store card details)

These services have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them.

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as purchase records.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Request transfer of your data
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

VectorTrainer is intended for professional airline pilots and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of VectorTrainer after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
