Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VectorTrainer application and the vectortraining.app website, operated by VectorTraining ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using VectorTrainer, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

VectorTrainer is intended for use by professional airline pilots and aviation personnel. By using VectorTrainer you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and are using the service for lawful professional purposes.

Subscriptions and Payment

Access to VectorTrainer content requires an active subscription purchased at vectortraining.app. Subscriptions are billed as described at the time of purchase. All payments are processed securely through WooCommerce and our payment processor.

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable advance notice.

Device Binding

Each VectorTrainer subscription is licensed to a single user on a single registered iPad. Sharing your credentials with other users or attempting to access your account from multiple devices is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension of your account without refund.

If you receive a new device, contact support@vectortraining.app to transfer your device registration. There is no charge for device transfers.

License and Content Use

Subject to these Terms, VectorTraining grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use VectorTrainer content for your personal, non-commercial professional study.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute VectorTrainer content in any form
  • Share, resell, or sublicense access to the service
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract content from the application
  • Use the content for commercial training purposes without a separate operator agreement

All content within VectorTrainer — including systems descriptions, diagrams, EICAS messages, quiz questions, and interactive panels — is the intellectual property of VectorTraining and is protected by copyright law.

Informational Use Only

VectorTrainer content is provided for informational and study purposes only. It is not a substitute for your airline's approved ground training program, simulator sessions, check airman evaluations, or any regulatory training requirement.

Always refer to your company's approved Flight Operations Manual, Aircraft Operating Manual, and other approved documentation for regulatory compliance. VectorTraining makes no representation that the content satisfies any regulatory training requirement in any jurisdiction.

Accuracy of Content

We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of VectorTrainer content. However, aviation procedures, limitations, and systems change. VectorTraining does not warrant that content is current, complete, or free from error. It is your responsibility as a pilot to verify information against approved sources.

If you identify an error in the content, please report it using the feedback feature in the app or by emailing support@vectortraining.app.

Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, attempt to circumvent device binding, share credentials, or use the service in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.

Upon termination, your access to content will be revoked. Downloaded content will no longer be accessible. No refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period in cases of termination for cause.

Disclaimer of Warranties

VectorTrainer is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VectorTraining shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use VectorTrainer, including but not limited to damages arising from reliance on content for operational or regulatory purposes.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of VectorTrainer shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VectorTraining operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of VectorTrainer after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
