What is VectorTrainer?
VectorTrainer is a digital ground school platform built exclusively for airline pilots. Every system, every panel, every EICAS message — organized into clean, structured modules and delivered offline to your iPad.
What aircraft types are available?
VectorTrainer currently offers content for the Embraer E175 and the Bombardier CRJ family (200, 700, 900). Additional aircraft types are in development and will be added regularly.
Is an internet connection required?
Only for your initial login and course download. Once your content is installed, everything runs fully offline — no Wi-Fi required on the ramp, in the sim, or in the hotel room.
What device do I need?
VectorTrainer is built exclusively for iPad. It is purpose-built for the device your airline already issues, delivering a native reading and learning experience — not a web app, not a PDF viewer.
Is VectorTrainer available on iPhone or Mac?
Not currently. VectorTrainer is iPad-only by design. The larger screen is essential for interactive panel diagrams and system schematics.

ACCOUNT & ACCESS

Why is my account bound to one device?
Each VectorTrainer subscription is tied to a single iPad for security and licensing integrity. This ensures your content stays on your device and your credentials can't be shared or misused.
What if I receive a new company iPad?
Contact us at support@vectortraining.app with your account email and we'll transfer your device binding within one business day. There is no charge for device transfers.
Can I share my login with a colleague?
No. Each subscription is single-device and single-user. If your colleague needs access, they'll need their own subscription. Check with your chief pilot — bulk operator pricing may be available.
How do I reset my password?
Visit vectortraining.app/my-account/lost-password and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Log in to your account at vectortraining.app/my-account and manage your subscription from there. You can cancel at any time.

CONTENT

How often is content updated?
Content is updated regularly as procedures, limitations, and systems change. When updates are available, they'll download automatically the next time you're connected to the internet.
Are the knowledge check quizzes included?
Yes — every content module includes a dedicated knowledge check quiz with randomized questions and answers. A comprehensive final exam is also included covering all systems.
Is VectorTrainer content approved for regulatory training?
VectorTrainer content is for informational and study purposes only. It is not a substitute for your airline's approved ground training program, simulator sessions, or check airman evaluations. Always refer to your company's approved documentation for regulatory requirements.
I found an error in the content. How do I report it?
Tap Send Feedback in the app settings, select Content Error, and describe what you found. We take content accuracy seriously and will review and correct errors promptly.
